it’s hard to imagine how she’s handling all of this when this clusterfuck of a lifestyle was all seth had ever really known how to do. he can’t remember a day in his life when things had been normal, can’t properly remember life before his mom had left him and richie. maybe things had been better after richie burned it all down, but normal isn’t something he knows how to do. even if she makes him feel a little less fucked up. “do you want a drink?” maybe not the most sane offering, but it’s the only way he knows how to help.
