eve becomes SNAKE -- or snake becomes EVE. whichever way ROUND, she is FREER. hell follows her ‘round, hell called MAN, hell called ADAM, trying to make the CHANGING about him. adam demands of god why he is being PUNISHED like this. eve finds GRACE in the dark cracks between rocks. eve finds god in the SOLITUDE. eve finds ABSOLUTION in the red press of her knees / scales into the dirt. eve, UNBLINKING, watches adam rail. adam demands ANSWERS and eve / snake / eve exits the GARDEN to go and find them for HERSELF.

it’s what she gets for trying to move so fast / feet shuffle quickly , she has disappeared into the crowd with four wallets that don’t belong to her tucked safely in her purse . be cool ! psyching herself out & trying for a quick get - away is what tripped her up , skinned her palms & knees on the concrete when she stumbled & fell . soft curse under her breathe , she takes the other girl’s hand thankfully , glancing over her shoulder to make sure no one’s followed her . ❝ ‘m fine —- sorry . thanks . ❞ nevermind the trickle of blood from her knee or the scrapes on her hands , its nothing she won’t survive .
