eve becomes SNAKE -- or snake becomes EVE. whichever way ROUND, she is FREER. hell follows her ‘round, hell called MAN, hell called ADAM, trying to make the CHANGING about him. adam demands of god why he is being PUNISHED like this. eve finds GRACE in the dark cracks between rocks. eve finds god in the SOLITUDE. eve finds ABSOLUTION in the red press of her knees / scales into the dirt. eve, UNBLINKING, watches adam rail. adam demands ANSWERS and eve / snake / eve exits the GARDEN to go and find them for HERSELF.

‘ GREEN TEA,’ her head perked up, nose leading her body over to her green tea frappe. She grabs the cold plastic cup and takes a generic green straw to match her drink. Alice returned to Kate, lips pursed around the straw as she sips languidly from the cold beverage. Lips smack together, ‘let’s sit over there, ya?’ pointing over to the empty seats near the window.
A LITTLE NOD and she tucks a strand of still-red hair behind her ear, one hand still curled around her own tea. she takes a seat, hangs her purse from the back of the chair and turns back to the woman. ‘ you from around here ? ’ she questions, going for conversational - she’s not a shy girl, and she’s not usually so out-of-whack, but with the way things are going lately no one can blame her for not quite being in the swing of things when it comes to human interaction.
