eve becomes SNAKE -- or snake becomes EVE. whichever way ROUND, she is FREER. hell follows her ‘round, hell called MAN, hell called ADAM, trying to make the CHANGING about him. adam demands of god why he is being PUNISHED like this. eve finds GRACE in the dark cracks between rocks. eve finds god in the SOLITUDE. eve finds ABSOLUTION in the red press of her knees / scales into the dirt. eve, UNBLINKING, watches adam rail. adam demands ANSWERS and eve / snake / eve exits the GARDEN to go and find them for HERSELF.

A FAIR QUESTION. it stings to think about, though - her brother is & will ALWAYS be the most important person in her life. she’s proven that time and time again. scott deserved better. richie and seth, they could handle a little crazy. scott was still just a kid, younger than even kate. all she’d ever wanted for him was to be afforded a normal life - and she knew, she KNEW that he wouldn’t be able to. not with her in his life. so she kissed her brother goodbye and walked out of his life. despite the tears tracked down her face, it was for the best. ‘ he deserves a real life. a normal one. ’ and she just couldn’t handle the thought of hurting him again - though that’s a thought she keeps to HERSELF because she knows how selfish it is.
