angel tears.

eve becomes SNAKE -- or snake becomes EVE. whichever way ROUND, she is FREER. hell follows her ‘round, hell called MAN, hell called ADAM, trying to make the CHANGING about him. adam demands of god why he is being PUNISHED like this. eve finds GRACE in the dark cracks between rocks. eve finds god in the SOLITUDE. eve finds ABSOLUTION in the red press of her knees / scales into the dirt. eve, UNBLINKING, watches adam rail. adam demands ANSWERS and eve / snake / eve exits the GARDEN to go and find them for HERSELF.

        _{he fought ELEGANTLY, moving swiftly between vampires. he staked one & threw the other into an alley wall. los angeles was his city & he wasn’t going to allow MONSTERS to destroy it. the vampire POUNCED back, throwing a fist into angel’s face, causing him to stumble. he turned back to face his OPPONENT, his inner DEMON showing. he fought back with hard kicks & feisty punches before his stake drove itself into the vampire’s HEART. angel watched as the man turned to dust before looking to the VICTIM he had rescued.  ❝ —- it’s okay, you’re gonna be okay now.. ❞}  

         _{SHE WOULD HAVE been okay anyway - probably. these vampires are different from culebras, but a stake to the chest kills them just the same. she’s thankful for the backup, though, since she hadn’t QUITE anticipated the vampire she’d lured away to have quite so many friends. ( ‘s like seth said, though - even assholes have friends. ) the man is much more experienced with fighting, though, that much is clear. it’s all she can do to just watch the fight happen, really. green eyes are wide & surprised, gaze shifting from the explosion of dust that’s settling on the ground to the man who’d just, uh, given her a hand. ‘ …. - are you ? y’ got hit pretty hard, there… ’}
