eve becomes SNAKE -- or snake becomes EVE. whichever way ROUND, she is FREER. hell follows her ‘round, hell called MAN, hell called ADAM, trying to make the CHANGING about him. adam demands of god why he is being PUNISHED like this. eve finds GRACE in the dark cracks between rocks. eve finds god in the SOLITUDE. eve finds ABSOLUTION in the red press of her knees / scales into the dirt. eve, UNBLINKING, watches adam rail. adam demands ANSWERS and eve / snake / eve exits the GARDEN to go and find them for HERSELF.

Willow offers a timid, apologetic smile, resting a hand atop the closed folder as though attempting to keep the photos from springing back out of their own accord. Chewed up fingernails drum nervously against the table.

            _{WELL, SHE’S NOT wrong. they most definitely are hard to ignore, for more reasons than one. loose strand of black hair is tucked behind her ear absently, that same reassuring expression curving her lips. she looks tired, though - like seeing all that blood just shaved off another ten years from her life. ‘ a reporter, ’ she repeats, a tinge of admiration in her voice. ‘ that’s cool. it doesn’t make ya… i dunno, uncomfortable t’ see all that ? i woulda thought photos like that were saved for the investigators. ’}
