angel tears.

eve becomes SNAKE -- or snake becomes EVE. whichever way ROUND, she is FREER. hell follows her ‘round, hell called MAN, hell called ADAM, trying to make the CHANGING about him. adam demands of god why he is being PUNISHED like this. eve finds GRACE in the dark cracks between rocks. eve finds god in the SOLITUDE. eve finds ABSOLUTION in the red press of her knees / scales into the dirt. eve, UNBLINKING, watches adam rail. adam demands ANSWERS and eve / snake / eve exits the GARDEN to go and find them for HERSELF.

           he can feel eyes upon him but he doesn’t say anything. doesn’t want to embarrass her because she does seem rather meek in a way. though, if it had been some with say, a personality like him? he’d call them out for it. head tilts to the side as he adjusts his sunglasses before giving a hard nod. “yeah! totally. i will bring the eighties back,” though, they were coming back in there own way. “why thank ya’, little lady.” he’ll turn his attention back to her, giving a playful wink. “is it my stunnin’ good looks or my very odd personality?” a lighthearted chuckle leaves him. 

               _{WELL, NOW, MEEK isn’t exactly the word kate would use. a little shy, maybe. a little uncertain. interested but not quite sure where she stands, of how exactly she’s meant to be handling it. she adjusts her own sunglasses, cheap & pink & heart-shaped, bought or maybe stolen from some open-air market in mexico. she beams at him, cheeks dimpled, head shaking just slightly with something like fond exasperation. ‘ both. and that’s just how i was gonna phrase it, too. stunnin good looks and very odd personality. CHARMIN, gotta put that in there somewhere, though. maybe trade it out for odd. ’}
