eve becomes SNAKE -- or snake becomes EVE. whichever way ROUND, she is FREER. hell follows her ‘round, hell called MAN, hell called ADAM, trying to make the CHANGING about him. adam demands of god why he is being PUNISHED like this. eve finds GRACE in the dark cracks between rocks. eve finds god in the SOLITUDE. eve finds ABSOLUTION in the red press of her knees / scales into the dirt. eve, UNBLINKING, watches adam rail. adam demands ANSWERS and eve / snake / eve exits the GARDEN to go and find them for HERSELF.

his hands stuff themselves into cargo shorts, nose wrinkle slightly as he looks upward toward the sun. he’ll squint, even with his sunglasses on as he finally lets his body relax. he had just finished a long shift at the pedicab. he, obviously, doesn’t seem to care that his stomach is out because, you know, he’s actually in shape now. may as well enjoy it. “’m sure they gawked at me but they reminded me tha’ girls wear stuff like this and i had to remind them of eighties fashion where men often wore short shorts ‘n crop tops. it used ta’ be the normal, man.”
HIS GAZE LIFTS away from her and she takes the opportunity to just admire him as subtly as possible for a moment. he kind of reminds her of her ex-boyfriend kyle, in a way - dualistic in nature, both soft and hard and tough and sweet. kyle was a little bit stuck up, though, a little boring even for a church boy, and he’d never be caught dead in a crop top. ( doesn’t matter now, though, cause he’s actually dead. ) she thinks she kinda likes bou better. ‘ well, i think you look good. ’ she doesn’t shy away from the compliment, just gives him a beaming, dimpled little smile and absently toys with her momma’s cross hanging around her neck. ‘ and if anyone can bring them back, it’s you. ’
