eve becomes SNAKE -- or snake becomes EVE. whichever way ROUND, she is FREER. hell follows her ‘round, hell called MAN, hell called ADAM, trying to make the CHANGING about him. adam demands of god why he is being PUNISHED like this. eve finds GRACE in the dark cracks between rocks. eve finds god in the SOLITUDE. eve finds ABSOLUTION in the red press of her knees / scales into the dirt. eve, UNBLINKING, watches adam rail. adam demands ANSWERS and eve / snake / eve exits the GARDEN to go and find them for HERSELF.

GOOD OL’ DAYS ; amanda clark, kimberly and other cheerleaders would drive to the local angel grove mall, chauffeur dresses for one another, no matter what the occasion was ; the ELITE girl squad!praised for its humongous popularity, and ‘ hashtag goals ‘ ! ——— all in the past now. social ranking deteriorated. no more pom-poms & high waist uniform, glorious onyx lengthy locks, supreme queen confidence faded, too. it was miserable. but eventually, kimberly found her purpose ——— purpose in life. and that purpose? a circular million-aged golden / pink coin. pure insanity. skimming the rack of preppy clothes, her orbs landed on a peach-colored, above-the-knees dress. ugh, so cute. she had to have it. lately, pink’s been quite the impact. light surprised gasp ; ❛ ——— NO, it’s fine. you can take it. i have enough pink clothes lately, trust me. i’ll live. ❜
KATE CAN’T QUITE relate, high school days had her well-liked but not POPULAR. for some reason - people can be a little WARY of a preacher’s daughter ! and in small-town-texas, when kids want to have fun, last thing they wanted was the threat of kate telling her daddy hanging over their heads. cheeks tint pink just a LITTLE, head shaking. ‘ it’s - really. it probably wouldn’t even look GOOD on me. ’ it’s not practical, at any rate. but she LIKES it. gaze still settled on the garment as she withdraws her hand. ‘ it’d look nice on YOU, though. ’
