angel tears.

eve becomes SNAKE -- or snake becomes EVE. whichever way ROUND, she is FREER. hell follows her ‘round, hell called MAN, hell called ADAM, trying to make the CHANGING about him. adam demands of god why he is being PUNISHED like this. eve finds GRACE in the dark cracks between rocks. eve finds god in the SOLITUDE. eve finds ABSOLUTION in the red press of her knees / scales into the dirt. eve, UNBLINKING, watches adam rail. adam demands ANSWERS and eve / snake / eve exits the GARDEN to go and find them for HERSELF.

xaphan.

            xaphan never did truly understand the need for a true body. xaphan never really had one. had been an angel before he fell along side of lucifer after trying to turn heaven into the first, original hell. hence why he was in charge of the furnace since the very beginning. long legs bring him a few steps closer, dark eyes filled to the brim with amusement. of course, he was fully capable she could do more damage. if anything, he was more amused that she just pulled that shit out in the open like that, not even worried about who might see. xaphan always tried to make things look like an xaphan, unexplained. he’s pretty sure there are pictures of his willowy silhouette on the internet being treated like he’s some mysterious cryptid. humans were so strange. “’m sure ya’ got more tricks up ya’ sleeves, birdie. been a few decades since i ran inta’ ya’ kind. thought y’all were hidin’ out,”
